How did the Accident Happen: While diving in Ganga
River
We received Tshering on April 29, 2003. He was treated conservatively
in Banaras for a month and then to Bir Hospital for three
months. He had also done acupuncture therapy. When we received
him, he could not get up and sit. Also, right portion of his
body was weak and could not move his legs properly. Grip was
not present in his right hand. After staying 11 months at
SIRC, he could stand without any help, sit and control his
body properly. Now he can walk with the help of crutch. We
discharged him on November 3, 2003.
Tshering is now planning to take training at Center for blind
and disabled at Kirtipur. He will be taking, English, Computer
and office management training.
We are now planning to get him a job as a teacher. We wish
his success.
