Pratap came to the centre after his surgery (Laminectomy of excision of tumour). He had sensation in his whole body, but was not able to move his lower limbs. Pratap was kept under complete bed rest for one week and then began regular physiotherapy. After four moths of regular treatment, he was discharged on 16/6/2004, and went home walking. He is a very good painter, and painted several items while he was at the SIRC. Now, he does Thanka painting.
