The dedicated and close-knit staff of the Rehabilitation Centre is the primary reason that the Centre has run so smoothly. The staff have not complained about the heavy workload they have faced and they have provided the kind of compassionate care that victims of spinal injury require, which can be quite demanding. The staff have worked with extra enthusiasm knowing that it is their contributions which will give the Centre the kind of momentum it needs. Now that this momentum has been achieved within the first three months, it is important to increase the number of staff to enable the Centre to go to its ‘full strength’ of forty in-patients, as well as to reduce the burden on existing staff.
