Your support is vital to the success of SIRC as we rely extensively on donations and grants. The Government of Nepal provides extremely modest support to SIRC. Given the present state of political and administrative flux in Nepal, it is difficult to expect large-scale support from the Government of Nepal, despite the exclusive service-orientation of our mission. Furthermore, we are not in a position to use the various formulae for " internal sustainability " that may work for other organizations. Additionally, the fact that the overwhelming majority of our patients come from subsistence backgrounds means that SIRC cannot apply differential rates for services as a way to generate subsides for the indigent. For all these reasons, SIRC has focused on raising support locally and internationally. We are thankful to individuals and organizations within Nepal and overseas who have supported by providing funds or expertise.

Donations of any amount will be of great value to SIRC as it will provide direct assistance to patients who cannot afford the rehabilitation treatment. Moreover, your donation will provide patients with the resources to rebuild their lives.
